Whilst the below gives a flavour of the typical areas of consultancy that I deliver in my work, in addition to the often-requested areas of focus advocacy has been central to much of my work – with communities, stakeholders, policy makers, government, local and national.

Working with clients to focus or develop vision, mission and goals, and create realistic plans to deliver sustainably on strategic aims and objectives. Work includes conducting robust organisation ‘stock-takes’, external environmental scans and peer reviews to ensure a robust foundation for progress.

Helping to refine or refresh direction, and creating rigorous, useable plans, underpinned by market analysis and peer review, to help the organisation to move forward with confidence.

Revenue development and fundraising

Advise on funding and fundraising strategies to support future goals of the organisations, and work to help unlock funding channels from supporting organisations.

Organisational review, development and change management

Working with boards, leadership and stakeholders to plan and deliver change, organisation review or stabilisation. Includes identifying roles, people and operational models necessary to ensure the organisation is sustainable in the long term.

Creative Programming

Mixed art-form programme advice and design, models and financial frameworks combined with revenue / audience projections in the context of venue, location, socio-demographic profiles. 

Revenue Development & Diversification

Drawing on proven expertise in areas such as food & beverage operations, fundraising and commercial activity, work to identify opportunities to diversify and increase income streams and build a compelling case for support and stakeholder engagement.

Developing realistic strategies and targets, compelling cases for support and stakeholder engagement strategies. Identifying potential sources and opportunities for revenue diversification and growth, including commercial activities/Food & Beverage.

Marketing & audience development

Creation of robust marketing strategies that support core aims and delivery plans underpinned by market research, audience data and peer review/best practice.

Feasibility studies for capital and major development projects

Drawing on a range of professional experience, ensuring organisations explore opportunities and challenges of projects fully at the outset and that capital projects are underpinned by robust feasibility and SWOT analysis and draw on industry best practice.

Evaluation and Policy Development

Working with clients to develop and implement successful evaluation frameworks and relevant, pertinent cultural and strategic policy plans.
